Life is about finding balance
A Little Bit About Me..
Originally from upstate NY, I am a horse girl at heart. However, sometimes the path you end up on it not the path you started out on. Everything happens for a reason. Eventually I found my true calling- Social Work. I lived in Rochester, NY for several years, building my clinical experience in an acute group therapy program and in a psychiatric emergency room. While there, I was blessed to have been given the opportunity to be intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and now have a have great passion for helping others learn how to better manage the stress in their lives.
I can provide weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly clinical supervision for social workers, mental health counselors and other mental health professionals via phone or in person.
My theoretical orientations are Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and my areas of specialty are Anxiety & Stress Related Disorders, Grief/Bereavement, Co-occurring Disorders, Personality Disorders, and chronic suicide ideation.
Struggling with a difficult staff member or client? Sometimes it's helpful just to bounce some ideas off someone new!
